As well as the more 'formal' courses that have been happening at Orchard Barn, other more informal learning has been taking place. Daughters of friends and helpers have been practicing the ultimate in recycling. They have been learning how to clean up old bricks for re-use in the plinths of the barn.
Sophie and Imi have also been cutting hazel sections to make an edge to the vegetable gardens they forked over. Mark (Sophie's dad and long-term volunteer) has been overseeing their learning.
