Wassailing
Due to the historic nature of the barn and orchard, we felt it was appropriate to revive the old tradition of Wassailing - toasting the good health of the orchard trees.
On Saturday 17th January, friends of Orchard Barn gathered to sing and play music in the orchard. Home-made apple wine was poured on the roots of the apple trees and apple cake left in the branches for the robins.
