Gain unique practical experience of traditional roof construction.

Learn how to make a Shingle-covered roof by hand from local oak

• Learn about the history of Shingling and contemporary uses
• How to use green woodworking tools
• Cleave Oak cleft Roofing Shingles and split Sweet Chestnut into battens
• Help reconstruct a 17th century roof

ONLY £240 for your 3-day course

On the Tuesday and Wednesday immediately after each 3 day course, there will be the opportunity to stay for supervised shingle-making practice @ £20 per day.

Supervision Days will be 1st and 2nd, 15th and 16th and 29th and 30th June and 13th and 14th July.
