Jack's visit

'I spent 6 days at Orchard Barn in the Spring, working on a few projects around the place. It was a brilliant outlet for my creativity, and I ended each day feeling relaxed and worn out! So much was achieved with only 3 people there, and working with natural, very local materials (everything on the barn site is reused as much as possible) gives a real satisfaction.

I learnt a lot about traditional Suffolk building techniques which are very varied, and I’m sure I’ll return to the Barn to see how things are getting along and to help out again – I really hope this project succeeds!' 7.4.2010
