What is OBee?

OBee is an abbreviation of Orchard Barn Environmental Education. In September 2007 we registered as a CIC - as a framework to work within. We currently offer on-site training in traditional skills for trainees and volunteers. Some of these activities are at Orchard Barn, Ringshall, Suffolk, UK. Others are at venues such as Ringshall Village Hall and local woodland.

CIC is short for Community Interest Company. We are a social enterprise.

OBee CIC's vision is to inspire people to reduce their impact on the environment, improve their quality of life, gain new skills, live in a healthier and more satisfying way, and discover the enjoyment of community through co-operative activities.
