The year of the orchard

We first saw the orchard trees in February 2007. They looked dead. Several people suggested taking a bull-dozer and clearing them away (as if they were rubbish!!) THEN the trees miraculously started budding up. The blossom on these old trees was prolific and seemingly pest free. A reasonable crop has followed. Varieties as yet unknown.

August 2007, and we are blessed with an abundant harvest.
